Our Values

Circular Identity
From day one I AND ME has been committed to reducing waste with our ‘Buy Less, Buy Better’ slowly made model. I AND ME product is seasonless, we do not conform to trends but instead offer responsibly made, gender neutral premium wardrobe staples that are designed with longevity in mind.
The I AND ME identity is circular by design; we aim to close the loop and design waste out of every garments life cycle. Every detail is considered, from fibres, to trims and dye processes, ensuring these align with our brand values and visual identity.

Materials + Process
Our collections are made from biodegradable natural fibres including, Cotton, Hemp, Linen, Tencel and Wool.
I AND ME partners with leading industry mills and manufacturers who push innovative dye and finishing technologies forward to ensure we reduce our water, chemical and electrical usage.
We are continuously striving to use certified materials and cleaner methods for our production.

Craftmanship
At the heart of I AND ME is our love of fabric.
I AND ME is committed to supporting textile craftsmanship by collaborating with mills, manufacturers and artisans from across the globe who champion traditional methods.
We balance textile history with modern innovation to drive our unique I AND ME aesthetic, working with antique looms, natural dyes and heritage technologies.

Traceability + Supply Chain
We are very excited to announce that we have partnered with Retraced, a platform that allows us to be fully transparent with our supply chain.
Every garment that we release now includes a QR code which will enable our customers to trace and track exactly where their I AND ME clothes have been made and what sustainable credentials they hold. You can also view this information on each product page online.

Animal Welfare
All of our wool is responsibly sourced from the UK, Australia or New Zealand, where the sheep roam in free range, vast and unspoilt terrain.
We no longer use leather on our branded patches but instead work with jacron; a washable paper produced from cellulose fire. This natural biodegradable material is a substrate of wood, is machine washable and has a leather-like look.

GARMENT CARE
We are passionate about increasing the lifespan of our garments and the measures that can protect your clothes and the planet at the same time.
Around 30% of a garments total carbon footprint happens with us, the consumer, at home.
With every denim order online you will receive our easy step guide which helps you do your bit for the environment, lower your footprint and ensure your denim lives and long and happy life.
You can check out our Denim Garment Care online here.

Re-Use + Recycle
To help maximise the life span of our garments we are happy to offer complementary repairs on all I AND ME garments. Please get in touch with hello@i-and-me.com for more information.
We encourage our customers to reuse, swap, share, repair, upcycle and recycle our products and will soon be offering a take back and recycling scheme. Watch this space for more information.
