#IANDMEStories -> Siôbhan Corbin

#IANDMEstories is a celebration of style. A chance to catch up with our customers and to learn a little something new.

This is Siöbhan, a Sustainability Advisor who knows a thing or two about styling her I AND ME’s with her banging shoe collection.

HI 👋🏻 @_siobhancorbin, TELL US ABOUT YOURSELF

I’m a 20-something who is lucky enough to live in the beautiful city of Bath. I work as a Sustainability Advisor at Archeologists and I’m in the final *stress inducing* months/weeks of my Master’s degree in Sustainable Development.

GO-TO STYLE OF JEANS

A relaxed fit or a wide leg

RAW, VINTAGE OR BLEACH WASH

I flip-flop between raw & vintage

SWEAR BY STYLING TIP

A slightly oversized beige trench should be in everybody’s wardrobe. A beige trench over any outfit, all year round, at any occasion, is a sure-fire way to look put together – especially if you’re stuck in a bit of a rut getting dressed in the morning.

JUMPER OR CARDIGAN

Cardigans. No, Jumpers. No, Cardigans… I can’t decide.

YOUR PARTY TRICK

I can rap the fast part of Eminem’s ‘Rap God’ (and the entire song for that matter). I performed it acapella at a talent show, during my Freshers Week in 2014 – mega cringe.

FAVOURITE I AND ME PIECE / NEXT ON YOUR WISHLIST

Maybe this helps answer the jumper or cardigan question: the Navy/Orange striped jumper.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE FOR SHOPPING MORE SUSTAINABLY

If you see a piece you’d like to buy, wait on it for a couple of weeks. My way of doing this is having a page on my notes app where I list items I see and think I’d like to buy. If I look back at that list, and haven’t thought of certain piece in ages, it’s clearly a sign I don’t need it and I was probably buying on impulse.
