ESCAPE EXPLORE EMBRACE
Fashion and dance has never been more in love. As the lines continue to blur, it seems like only a matter of time before the fashion world takes the love affair to new extremes.
On this, the recent Business Of Fashion feature wonderfully documents the above:
“To stand out and be memorable, you have to go beyond models just walking up and down a catwalk, however interesting the clothes are. It’s called a fashion show for a reason…”

As the feature explains, fashion has taken to dance with a new enthusiasm of late, and the New York City Ballet 2017/2018 Campaign is the most recent example of the lines blurring ever-further. Featuring designs from Dries Van Noten, Calvin Klein and more, the days of ballet wear being designed to be ‘invisible’ appear to be a thing of the past.
On a (slight) side note, this is a must-watch too.
